European Property Investing

European property investing brings information and resources for international investors that want to invest in Europe. The introduction of Euro in several European countries has allowed to many investors based in these countries to pursue property investments in the Eurozone without having to worry about one of the greatest sources of risk for international investing, that is, fluctuations in exchange rates. With more countries entering the Eurozone in the coming years the choices for cross-country European property investing without running having to worry about exchange rate risk will be becoming even wider and more diverse. Cyprus and Malta have just been given the final OK and will be officially converting to the Euro from January 1st 2008.

For other international investors the exchange rate risk remains in terms of investing in Europe. Despite this risk though international investing in general, and international real estate investing in particular has been increasing because this risk is counterbalanced by the higher investment returns that are available to various countries around the globe due to either rapid economic and real estate market growth and/or highly inefficient/immature markets and mispricing that allow for opportunities with very high returns.
