US 3-Month LIBOR Predicted to Stay Below 0.7% in 2010
The US 3-month LIBOR is predicted to stay below 0.7% in 2010 according to the November Wells Fargo Securities forecast.
In particular, the Wells Fargo Securities forecast predicts that the 3-month LiBOR in the US will stand at 0.30% by the end of the fourth quarter of 2009. In the first half of 2010 it is predicted to rise to 0.35% and by the end of the fourth quarter of 2010 it is predicted to rise to 0.65%.
However, the Wells Fargo Securities forecast predicts, that the US 3-month LiBOR will more than triple from its Q4 2010 level in the first half of 2011. In particular, it is predicted that in the first quarter of 2011 it will rise to 1.40% and climb to 2.15% by the end of the second quarter of 2011.
