The US Economy is Predicted to Grow Faster than Japan Economy in 2010
The US economy is predicted to grow faster than the Japanese economy in 2010, according to the latest Wells Fargo International Economic Forecast published in November 2009.
In particular, Wells Fargo predicts that the US economy will grow in 2010 and 2011 at an average rate of 2.4%, while the Japanese economy is predicted to grow by 1.9% in 2010 and by 1.6% in 2011.
The US economy is also predicted to register higher inflation rates than Japan. In particular, the US inflation rate, which in 2009 is predicted to be negative at -0.4%, is predicted to increase to 1.8% in 2010 and to 2% in 2011.
In Japan the inflation rate, which is predicted to be negative -1.3% in 2009, is predicted to remain in negative territory in 2010 and particularly at -0.7% and rise to positive territory in 2011 averaging 0.5%.
